Professionals:
6 weekly workshops exploring the performer’s relationship with Shakespeare’s language.Refresh yourself with an immersion in Shakespeare’s words in the company of Hero, Fool, Huntress, Mother, Sage and Trickster (and others).
Using cue scripts, and Original Shakespeare Co’s “rules of the game”, we’ll play with Shakespeare and allow Shakespeare to play (with) us.
These workshops are open to professional, experienced performers, directors and teachers, as well as students preparing for drama college auditions.
Beginners:
6 weekly workshops to introduce and immerse beginner performers into the world of Shakespeare and his text. By the end of week 6, performers will leave with a polished monologue that they can perform for auditions.

- Owning the Text
- Working with Iambic/ Archetypes
- Script work
- Understanding the text
- Working with Cue scripts

Professionals will work with Dr Flloyd Kennedy, Shakespeare Expert and performer, and Beginners will Work with Molly Farquhar, an award winning actor and director. During the first class, all actors will work together and Flloyd/Molly will assign both a beginners and professionals group.
Classes will run 12pm till 2pm for 6 weeks, on September 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th - there will then be one weeks break, and classes will resume on the 12th of October, concluding on the 19th. A showcase will be put on after this date.
