Broken Chair Improv presents: The Films That Never Were.

Date:  17th October 2026, 8pm

Have you ever had a film recommended but they don't tell you what's it about? Without any other knowledge of it your brain will make certain assumptions about the plot, characters and themes. Obviously these are dispelled once we see them but what happens to these imaginary films? Are they lost forever?

Broken Chair will bring them back and reimagine them for the stage. 

• Maybe Reservoir Dogs was about stray mongrels living near an abandoned water plant.

• Could Saving Private Ryan have been a heartfelt romantic comedy about coaxing your shy friend, Ryan out to find a date?

• Perhaps Pans labyrinth is about being lost in the kitchen department in Ikea.

We don't know what's going to happen, but we can promise that you'll never see the exact same show again... Even if you wanted to!
