Desperate times call for desperate measures. The piece is a comedy, with a serious underlying message.

The Longest Journey - A new play by Benjamin Peel directed by John-Paul George Cubbin
In a male migrant detention centre an asylum seeker has a mysterious encounter with a woman who has also undergone a harsh and terrifying sea voyage whilst going to a strange new land. As they exchange their experiences it becomes clear that they both were forced to leave their respective countries against their will but just want the chance to live peacefully and productively. The power of story telling comes to the fore and gives solace during a long dark night of the soul.

An Angel Has Landed by Tony Vale directed by Kevin Cubbin
Angels can fly in but it’s the one’s that land who make the difference. Claire has been supporting a community of homeless people for some time, assisted by Joe, one of its longest serving members. The relative calm is disrupted by the arrival of Marcus, a young man with a chip on his shoulder, who has a lot to learn about life on the street.
